I just came across an
article on a vanilla ice cream taste test conducted by Cook’s Illustrated. I
was intrigued because Cook’s is published by America’s Test Kitchen, a group
that goes about legitimately taste-testing everything! I wondered how my
standby supermarket pick, Dreyer’s Vanilla, would hold up. Not well, it turns
