Ray’s Boathouse Cafe

Over the weekend we visited a lovely restaurant called Ray’s Boathouse Café. The reason I liked it so much was because it is the type of place where you feel like you are splurging on food and ambiance, when really your meal can easily cash out at $20 per person. The thing that really got me was the view – the café is part of a larger building that is perched right on the water, overlooking the Puget Sound. And to add some serious 5-star flair, if you sit out on the porch, they have blankets draped over every chair in case you get chilly! I had the apricot salad and clam chowder, while Stuart got the rockfish tacos (usually I like to steal his food, but these were a bit too spicy for me!).
